public class ButtonPanel
extends JPanel

A 7x4 grid of buttons is constructed to take mouse and keyboard input from the user. All input is written to the single-line display in the LCDPanel class.

getActionListeners

public final ActionListener[] getActionListeners()

Get the ActionListeners for the calcButton.

Returns:

the ActionListeners for the calcButton

setEqualListener

public final void setEqualListener(CalculatorGUI.SolveListener inSolve)

The SolveListener is passed to the ButtonPanel by the parent class, CalculatorGUI. The SolveListener is then attached to the equals button. This allows the LCDPanel, which is a sibling of this ButtonPanel, to be updated when the user strikes the Enter key here. In a sense, the parent, CalculatorGUI, is telling it's two children to cooperate.
